New Look and Consolidation is taking place.

New Look: I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I
am now uploading my stock as PACKAGES containing more
than one image in a zip file. Also the title jacket is now
a new streamlined look with my new logo. I will be
replacing all of the old packages with the new look
soon. I am doing this in packages to avoid the massive
stealing of images that is occurring these days. I am
tired of seeing my artwork upped to photobucket and
places like that. It is harder to steal if they can't link
to one image in particular, and most people are too
lazy to download and take the images that way.

I might also take a lot of the single images and consolidate them
too, but I am not sure yet if this would work seeing as a
lot of them are already in people's collections. So make
sure you DOWNLOAD what you want to keep just in case.

Consolidation and deleting of old files: I am going to
be going through my Casperium gallery [link]
and deleting several hundred of my old pics. Why am I doing this? Well for
one thing no one ever goes to see them, most have one
FAVE and very little else. They are from when I first
joined and before I became known, so usually only my
newest works get viewed and commented or Faved....
SOOOOO anyone wanting any of those images should
go to my Casperium account and take a look now,
because in about a week the deleting will start.. If you
want to use them as Stock then note me which image
you want and I will change it over to the Stock category
or up it here at Moonchilde-Stock.
I will also be doing the same to this stock gallery.
Any old image that does
not have enough faves or views will also be deleted. So
Download them now if you want them.

I know it has been quite a while since I have updated
my Journal..
Real life sure does take up time...lol
This year I got a job as a Photographer... We have tons
of weddings to shoot come this spring and summer so I
will be extremely busy and quite possibly not uploading as
many stock as I normally do. But I will try to up as
many as I can. Among the photo shoots I will be doing
will also include Model shoots ( I just had the chance to
shoot in a Frank Lloyd Wright house,woohhoooo!) Also
doing model stock shoots in beautiful parks and
cathedrals. I don't know how of it I will be allowed to
upload as stock, but you can be sure I will try to get my
boss to let me..

I will also try to start Featuring more artwork from your
wonderful manipulations. Showcasing and featuring of
my artwork by others has helped me tremendously, and
I would love to return the favor.
I am also going to be judging a contest soon and will
post the where and when as soon as I get the details.

As always Permission is given to make Prints that
use my artwork in your manipulations. However make
sure that my artwork doesn't constitute the major
portion of the manipulation. In other words do not just
add a small figure or do an effect and think you can
make a print of it.. It is not allowed!!! Period!!! Using
my artwork as a background and then adding lots of
other stock or your own artwork so that it looks like a
totally new picture is what I am after. Those will always
get approved as Prints.. If not sure then note me and I
will look at your artwork and let you know.
If you want to post your artwork on another site
other than deviantart send me a note as to the place you
wish to up it too and I will let you know if it is
permissible.

Please remember to give CREDIT to the Stock artists. I
have noticed several people uploading pictures using stock,
mine included, and have not given credit. It is only right
to acknowledge your sources and most of us require it in
order to use our stock.
Also NOTE me when you use it with a LINK to the
artwork you have submitted. I do not have time to go
through your gallery looking for the picture. I will always
FAVE any artwork that uses my Stock, but I need a link
to it in order to do that.

Please do not VIOLATE COPYRIGHTS!!!! If you use my
stock and then put images you got off of the internet
that are not yours, not only will I not fave it, but I will
report the violation. Let me explain:
A company owns the
copyright to any and all logos, photos, characters etc
that are associated with its product. So unless you get
permission directly from that company to use their
copyrighted images, logos etc then you can not use
them and are in violation of copyright laws. Same
applies to any images of them that you find on the
internet, just because someone posted them does not
make it legal to use them. Same with screen captures
from TV. Even if you give the company credit, it is not
alright, because they have not given you permission to
use them.
It would be like you creating a fantastic piece of artwork
or a character from scratch, totally awesome... and then
people start using it to make their own things without
ever asking you..or saying that it should be OK since
they gave you credit, or that they saw another site
using it, so why can't they... Too many times people
assume that if they give credit to the company that that
is OK and covering the bases. but it is not....It is still a Copyright violation!
I hope this explains it a little better...
and why I will REPORT you and not Fave your work.
